Improving Photoshop knowledge by avoiding courses

My knowledge of Photoshop I would call good but not perfect.

However I always feel like there’s something MORE that I could do with my images.

Something that I’m not thinking about, because I never learnt existed.

How to Learn more photoshop

To solve this problem, I needed to learn more about photo editing. But HOW?

There are two solutions: take a course or teach yourself.

Okay, maybe there’s three solutions…. do both 🙂

I had a look at the course to become an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) in Photoshop and discovered it’d cost approximately £1000.

Then I discovered that there’s another stage of an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) which would cost a lot more!

Now the ACA five day intensive course would be good enough for personal purposes, whilst the ACE would put you on a whole new level.

And this led me to my next question:

Is it worth it?

I deliberated and researched more into what was involved and then it hit me.

Even if you learnt it all in five days, how much of it will you remember a month later? Especially if you’re not using everything you learnt frequently.

That’s when I discovered the book, the official workbook from Adobe to teach you everything you need to know.

And the best thing? You work at your own pace, your own way and you have consistent reference material.

So naturally I bought the book and now it has finally arrived!
